Here’s another shot in my series of images from Old Town using the Impossible Project’s PX-70 Color Shade instant film. In this shot, we have a collision of holidays – Christmas and Halloween.
The Christmas Attic is a popular store in the heart of Old Town. The shop sells Christmas items year round. Outside their shop is this nutcracker that is there all year long. But since its close to Halloween, the nutcracker has transformed into a pirate.
As I look more and more at my shots from this set of film, I’m noticing that it picks up textures very well. The gritty bricks surrounding the nutcracker really stand out to me.
