Today’s photo is another shot from the Virginia Scottish Games. As I stood on the sidelines watching the Heavy Weight Toss competition, I noticed this pair off to my side. The combination of modern tattoos with a traditional kilt grabbed my eye.
As a side note, I just noticed something interesting about this photo. The gender of either person is not obvious. It seems that the kilt has brought a kind of gender equality amongst these two. That is something I didn’t intend when taking the shot, and I am quite happy with that.
Its always nice when something extra comes out of the photo that wasn’t originally intended. A happy accident you could call it.
