Its safe to say that Easter weekend at a church is going to be a big deal. Fairfax Community Church was no exception.
With 5 services offered (one on Saturday, four on Sunday), a lot of effort was going to be put into making this an extra special weekend.
On top of helping out with ushering during the Saturday night service, I was tasked with photography during the worship and service.
I was asked to try to capture the newly designed set, the worship service led by multiple worship leaders and the overall energy of the evening.
With this shot, I tried to capture the full audience and the new set design. I shot this using my Tokina 11-16 mm ultra-wide lens. Since the light was fairly low, even during the message, I used my tripod to take this exposure.
I’ve been going to the Saturday night service at Fairfax Community Church since they first implemented it and this was the fullest I’ve ever seen it.
